Masks - In many cultures masks are deeply connected to the spirit world and were used to embody that power in rituals and performances. Some masks are sacred objects linked to secret societies and rites of passage like initiation, funerals, and ceremonies to ensure societal balance, protection, or prosperity.
Dragon Flies - In many Southwest Native American cultures, especially those of the Pueblo and Navajo peoples, dragonflies are sacred symbols of water, healing, and transformation. Given the dry, arid climate of the Southwest, the dragonfly's connection to water makes it a powerful and vital symbol.
